Island Creamery ice cream cakes are perfect for any celebration or occasion. Our small round (8 inches) serves 8-10. Our large round (10 inches) serves 16-18. Need a larger cake? We offer a Chocolate and Vanilla Cake Crunch ¼ sheet cake that serves 22-24. Don’t see the flavor you want? We can custom make your cake with advance notice. Listed below are the ice cream cakes we try to stock at all times. They can be purchased fully decorated at any time or personalized with advance notice.

Custom ice cream cakes require 48-hour notice and must be paid for in advance. Call us and we will be more than happy to answer any questions about cake orders.

  • Can I order an ice cream cake and pick it up the same day?

    It’s possible. If it’s one of our ice cream cake options that we try to have readily available then we should be able to help. If you want flavors beyond those four listed, you will need to call us to check availability. We cannot guarantee same day readiness, but we will try our best to fulfill your request. For Chincoteague Island call us at: 757-336-6236 for Berlin call us at: 410-973-2839 and for Salisbury call us at: 410-831-3103 to discuss same-day availability.

  • How long in advance do I need to contact you to procure a custom ice cream cake?

    We respectfully request that you contact us at least 48 hours before your desired pickup date/time. If you need a cake that same day, consider one of our ice cream cake options that we try to have ready all the time: Oreo, Chocolate and Vanilla, Peanut Butter Cup, or Chocolate Extreme (our “Marsh Mud” flavor -double chocolate). Call the location closest to you to place your order.

  • How can I take Island Creamery ice cream home with me?

    For best results, call us the day before you plan on leaving Chincoteague (the sooner you call, the more time the ice cream can spend in our deep freezer) and let us know what you want. We will gather your order together and immediately put it in our flash freezer which gets down to approximately -30 F. For optimum results, have a cooler for the ice cream. A packing material (towels, paper) to take up empty space helps. We also have Ice Brix available for sale at cost. With proper preparation several hours of travel time is reasonable. Flash freezing is not available in Berlin or Salisbury.
